SHIP REGISTRATION
1.BELIZE (DEPUTY REGISTRAR)
Open to all types of vessel including bulk carrier, cargo ships, tankers, containerships, passenger ships, fishing vessels, tugs, yachts, barges, MODUs and other ocean-going vessels.
There is an age policy dependent on type and area of operation and vessels should be under 25 years of age at time of registration to obtain fast approval for registration. Vessels exceeding the age limit may be accepted upon a satisfactory evaluation of its previous detention record, class society, ship manager, and in some cases, be subject to a General Safety Inspection to determine seaworthiness and management of the vessel.
There is no restriction in ownership as all foreign owned companies or individuals may register vessels under the Belize Flag.
CLASS AND SURVEY OF VESSEL
All commercial vessels are required to be classed by a Recognized Survey Company/Classification Society that is recognized by the Belize Government. (Concessions are made for yachts; contact IMMARBE Technical Department for guidance) Vessels of 7,500Gt require class by any of our recognized class societies.
2.ST. KITTS & NEVIS (DEPUTY REGISTRAR)
St. Kitts & Nevis International Ship Registry (SKANReg) commenced operation in 2005. By the end of 2017 had registered over 2000 vessels with 800+ currently registered with a total deadweight of 8.5M. It also has also issued seafarer documents to over 25,000 seafarers of many nationalities.
SKANReg has been active in assisting buyers, banks and lawyers involved in purchasing ships for recycling for many years. It is recognised for its sound Mortgage Legislation, which being based on English Law, is known, trusted and respected the world over.
Its Head Office is located on the outskirts of London spanning the time zones of the major shipping centres of the world.
3.MONGOLIA
Mongolia Ship Registry registered approximately 3000 vessels while around 500 vessels having regular registration. Although Mongolia is a landlocked country, the total tonnage and number of Mongolia registered vessels are more than that of some countries which have sea access. This is an indication that Mongolia has achieved a presence to some extent in this sector.
Type of registrations are normal /provisional and permanent/, short term, mortgage and bareboat charter registries. The necessary documents can be obtained from our website.
4.PANAMA
Any person, natural or legal, regardless of nationality or place of origin, is eligible to register vessels under the Panama flag. The registration procedure is simple and expedite, which allows the vessel to complete its registration usually in 24 hours. No requirements for minimum tonnage is required.
5.BARBADOS
The advantages of Barbados flag is the following:
– Reputed and white listed flag
– Reliance of electronic crew endorsements

6.DOMINICA
Nimbusoffers ship registration for clients` vessels under the Commonwealth of Dominica flag. The Commonwealth of Dominica International Ship Registry is one of the most cost-effective international ship registries in the world.
7.MALTA
Nimbusis able to register our clients` vessels under Malta flag. Malta flag is a White-listed in Paris MOU & Tokyo MOU. Our company has its resident agent based in Malta.
The Malta Flag is a European Flag with a long maritime tradition. Ranks 1st in Europe with a total 77.2 million combined gross tonnes registered under the flag (2018) and 6th largest world-wide.
Malta flag has no restrictions on the nationality of Masters, Officers and Crew.
