What is CDC(Seaman book)?
This is kind of identity document issued to seafarers. If a person holds this document, this means he or she is trained seafarer as per the International Convention on Standards of Training and fit in all respects.
Every seafarer must carry this document while on board. This is an official and legal record of your sea experience. The CDC is issued for the time of five or ten years, but it can be renewed or validated before it expires.
CDC is also required for offshore personnel to go onboard for easy clearance to go onboard
